Vintage Halloween
Posted in Children's Halloween Costumes, Custom Made Halloween Costumes, Halloween, Tricks and Treats on August 31st, 2010 by HelfyreHalloween events in the past very often took place at a church or community center, bonfires, corn mazes , bobbing for apples are all old fashioned types of activities people took part in, seeming to be more popular in the early 2oth century than today. Today these traditions are somewhat kept up but there is also lots more trick or treating and amusement parks get in on the fun now with scary rides and roller coasters and haunted houses for everyone to enjoy. Kids had simple ghost or goblin costumes, or little girls and their cute little witch costumes
, all thrown together at the last minute. There is something cozy and quaint about the Halloweens past, and the super cool decorations are making a comeback on websites during this time of year, we should all embrace a vintage style Halloween!
